Waterproofing Your Backpack

In this video I show you the best way to waterproof you backpack: A garbage bag. This is what I’ve done for years and it always keeps my gear dry no matter how wet the weather. I think this works better than an external pack cover also because it won’t blow off, get caught on things and allow water to seep by in various places. Also garbage bags are very handy in emergencies as rain gear, vapor barrier insulation, etc.
